The Castle of San Nicola the Arena di Trabia is a fifteenth-century castle inserted in the coastal landscape of Trabia.
The structure was erected to alert the inhabitants from the raids of Pirates.
Even today it is possible to visit three towers.
The cylindrical tower has round rooms on three levels; you arrive at the top through a staircase created in the thickness of the wall.
The castle belonged to Orlando Graffeo, Tommaso Crispo, Antonio Spatafora, Bologna, Valdina and Montagna.
Today it is owned by the Vanni Calvello di San Vincenzo princes.
