Located in the city center, the Triton fountain divides the old part from the more recent one.
It was built in 1890 in memory of the construction of the "Dammusi" aqueduct; It has an octagonal shape and is surrounded by vases with flowers that give it a particularly pleasant appearance, especially in spring and summer.
At the center of the fountain, the bronze monument of the Triton was built in 1951 by Domenico Li Muli.
This fountain, together with Torre Ligny and the Colombaia castle, is a symbol of Trapani.
