The well-maintained Museum of Termini Imerese is worthy of a visit.
Housed in a medieval palace, has a beautiful collection of prehistoric finds and important findings from the Greek city of Himera, as the lion-shaped gutters of the temple of Victory and a red-figure attic crater.
There is also a very rich numismatic collection with coins from the most important cities of Magna Graecia.
You walk among statues, roman amphorae and arabic inscriptions.
The art gallery hosts works by Sicilian artists of the 16th and 17th centuries.
The medieval frescoes of the church of San Michele Arcangelo complete the visit to the museum.
The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 18:30.
Sunday only in the morning.
