Built around 1760 on a project by Vincenzo Sinatra, the Ducezio palace is beautiful right in front of the Cathedral of Noto.
Embellished by a series of arches arranged all around, it is the headquarters of the City Hall of Noto.
One of its most interesting and richly decorated rooms is Sala degli Specchi, where several Heads of State has been hosted; It has an oval plan, a frescoed vault by Antonio Mazza and furnishings in Louis XV style.
Palazzo Ducezio was used as a film set for some scenes of the successful television series Il Commissario Montalbano.
