The temple of Aesculapius is located within the homonymous sanctuary; It is one of the smallest Agrigento temples, 22.14 meters long and 11.18 meters wide, but it is complete.
It has a cell, a front compartment and a false rear compartment.
On the sides of the cell door there are the stairs leading to the roof, decorated with gutters shaped in a lion's head, almost completely preserved.
Furthermore, part of the elevated north-west and the three steps of the platform on which the temple was raised are preserved.
