In the center of the small peninsula of Magnisi there is a circular tower.
It was built between the end of 1500 and the beginning of 1600.
The Tower of Magnisi has an umbrella-shaped interior that makes it the one of this kind in the province of Syracuse.
At the end of 2012, the municipality of Priolo proceeded to clean it up, and soon it will be used as a museum.
